In the Intersection of Design and Technology

Hey there, I’m Diogo, a designer based in Porto, Portugal – home to the famous Francesinhas and some seriously talented designers. My passion lies in web design and UX/UI design, where I focus on creating interfaces that not only look great but also prioritize user experience and make life easier for developers – and myself, thanks to my front-end programming skills.

When I’m not desiging, you can find me hitting the gym or indulging in some Japanese animation or maybe watching ‘Scarface’ for the third time. Oh, and I’ve got a soft spot for video and motion graphics too – just a little added bonus.

and Experiences

  • 2018-2019

    1st Year Multimedia Design - ESEC

    I completed one year of Multimedia Design at ESEC, where I delved into programming languages and explored video and photography. While I enjoyed certain aspects of the course, I ultimately decided to change Bachelor.

  • 2019-2022

    Bachelor of Design - University of Aveiro

    In Aveiro, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Design, which offered a broader scope covering various aspects of design.

  • 2022 - 2023

    Web Designer - SOOCHY*

    At SOOCHY*, my primary role was as a Web Designer, focusing on WordPress websites. Additionally, I contributed to some editorial projects and motion graphics projects.

    UX/UI and Digital Designer - TastingDesign

    During my time at Tasting Design, my role primarily revolved around UX/UI design and Web Design, where I collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop a diverse range of apps, ensuring optimal final products and contributed to website projects aswell. I provided additional support in social media design and strategy, as well as occasional involvement in editorial projects.

    Full-Stack Development Course - EDIT. - Disruptive Digital Education

    I gained expertise in both back-end and front-end development, learning essential tools, techniques, and best practices for designing interactive digital projects tailored to users' needs.

    My role primarily involves correcting website implementations to align with design standards and creating new designs focused on conversions and e-commerce.
